The Larkin Street Fund
Annual gifts to The Larkin Street Fund enable the agency to invest strategically in our youth, staff, and innovative programs. The Fund is the primary source of flexible, discretionary dollars used by the Executive Director for top priorities to strengthen and enhance the agency’s continuum of care.
Planned Gifts
Planned gifts enable many donors to make a more substantial gift to Larkin Street. Donors receive tax benefits and gifts can enhance a donor’s own financial situation while making a lasting contribution to Larkin Street.
Corporate Matching Gifts
Many businesses match employees’ charitable gifts. Contact your company’s human resources office for more information.
Honor and Memorial Gifts
You may make a donation or pledge in honor or in memory of a family member or friend.
Give through the United Way
You can increase the impact of your support for our kids by designating Larkin Street as a beneficiary of all or part of your United Way gift. To designate Larkin Street, specify #3320 on your United Way pledge card.
Make a Gift of Stock
The process of making a gift of stock is simple. Before taking any action, please call Kathie Lowry, Chief Development Officer, so that we can track the stock transaction, at (415) 673-0911, ext. 301. Then, ask your broker to transfer the stock directly to the Larkin Street Youth Services account with Comerica Bank. Our representative at Comerica Bank is Dan Ziegler, whom you may reach at (415) 477-3231 or dan_b_ziegler@comerica.com, to let him know that you want to make a stock transfer to Larkin Street Youth Services.
Our account number is P1R-335184 and our DTC number is #0443. The transferring agent will need these numbers, but brokers should not use the DTC number without speaking to Larkin Street’s representative first.
Your broker may also want to know Larkin Street’s tax identification number to substantiate that your gift will be tax-deductible. Our tax ID number is 94-2917999.
Comerica Bank will notify Larkin Street of your gift and you should receive an acknowledgement from the office within two weeks of the beginning of the process.

Join the Larkin Street community as a program volunteer (three hours a week for six months) or group volunteer, help at the holidays, or provide your talents for one-time or on-going projects.
