Our solid return on investment ensures that by investing in Larkin Street you are directly making an impact on our programs and the youth we serve. 84% of all the funds raised for Larkin Street go directly to the programs for the youth.

Here are examples of how your investment could impact our programs and youth.

Investment packages

$60,000 investment could:

  • Subsidize apartment living and case management services for two (2) former foster youth for 18 months while they pursue their education and learn valuable employment skills to be able to live independently; less than $55 per night per youth


$50,000 investment could:

  • Support around-the-clock care, safe housing, meals, educational opportunities and recreational outings for an HIV-positive youth for approximately one (1) year; little more than $160 per night per youth
  • Provide housing and supportive services in a family-like setting for one (1) year for two (2) 15-17 year olds at The LOFT; roughly $200 per night to serve our youngest, most vulnerable youth of which only 2/3 is covered by public agencies


$25,000 investment could:

  • Provide housing and supportive services in a family-like setting for one year for a 15-17 year old at The LOFT; roughly $200 per night to serve our youngest, most vulnerable youth of which only 2/3 is covered by public agencies
  • Provide the opportunity for 500 homeless kids ages 12-18 to sleep in a warm bed and eat a nutritious meal for a night at the Diamond Youth Center; less than $50 per youth per night


$20,000 investment could:

  • Subsidize apartment living and case management services for a former foster youth for one year while they pursue their education and learn valuable employment skills to be able to live independently; less than $55 per night per youth
  • Provide one (1) month of emergency housing and supportive services, including immediate access to work and employment training, for eight (8) 18-24 year olds at The Lark-Inn for Youth; roughly $80 per youth per day


$10,000 investment could:

  • Subsidize apartment living and case management services for a LGBTQ youth for six (6) months and provide scholarship monies to pursue their educational goals; less than $50 per night per youth
  • House two (2) youth for one month at Avenues To Independence while also providing some scholarship monies to pursue their educational goals; less than $110 per night per youth


$5,000 investment could:

  • House a youth for one (1) month at Avenues To Independence while also provide some scholarship monies to pursue their educational goals; less than $110 per night per youth
